Facts, allegations, analysis, and theories are not interchangeable. We label them so readers can see what the evidence supports—and what it does not.

Our mission
TruthTube Files is an independent English-language editorial publication examining online scams, fraud, identity theft, digital privacy, criminal psychology, forensic evidence, missing-person casework, and emerging forms of AI-enabled deception.
Our purpose is practical: help readers distinguish evidence from appearance, recognize manipulation before it causes harm, and find reliable next steps without turning victims, unresolved cases, or human suffering into entertainment.
Editorial policy
We distinguish verified facts, attributed allegations, expert interpretation, editorial analysis, and unresolved theories. Headlines, summaries, images, captions, and social posts are expected to preserve those distinctions rather than manufacture certainty.
A person is not described as guilty unless convicted by a competent court. Arrest, charge, allegation, civil claim, investigation, and conviction are different legal states and should be labeled accurately. When a matter is unresolved, the language should remain proportionate to the available record.
Research methodology and source hierarchy
Primary and official materials lead our research whenever available. These may include court records, regulator notices, law-enforcement releases, government guidance, scientific standards, public datasets, original statements, and direct documentation.
Reputable secondary reporting may provide context, chronology, and independent scrutiny. Repetition across low-quality websites is not corroboration. Material claims should remain traceable to a source capable of supporting them, and uncertainty should be stated when the record is incomplete or contested.
Fact-checking and review
Before publication, we review names, dates, locations, legal status, quotations, numerical claims, product capabilities, reporting channels, and the relationship between a headline and its supporting evidence. Sensitive claims receive additional attention.
Some articles are educational explainers rather than reporting on a specific case. In those pieces, examples are framed generically unless a real event is necessary and properly sourced. Product and safety information is reviewed again when a material update is identified.
Corrections, updates and reader reports
We correct substantive errors promptly and transparently. A correction may amend an inaccurate fact, clarify misleading wording, update an outdated official resource, or add material context that changes how a passage should be understood.
Minor spelling, formatting, or readability edits may be made without a correction note when they do not change meaning. Material corrections and significant updates should be dated within the relevant article. Readers can use the correction form attached to each article or email lavi@truthtubefiles.com.
Correction submissions should identify the page, disputed statement, and supporting source. Do not send confidential evidence, identity documents, intimate images, or material that belongs with law enforcement.
Ethics and victim dignity
We avoid graphic imagery, unnecessary personal detail, dehumanizing language, unsupported speculation, and framing that makes harm feel like a game. We do not encourage amateur confrontation, trespass, harassment, doxxing, or public identification of uncharged people.
When reporting on victims, families, minors, or vulnerable people, relevance and public interest must outweigh curiosity. Public availability alone does not make a detail ethically necessary to republish.
AI usage policy
Artificial intelligence may assist with organization, transcription, accessibility, illustration, language refinement, or early-stage research support. It does not replace source verification, editorial judgment, or accountability.
AI-generated or AI-assisted editorial illustrations are labeled when material. Such images must not be presented as documentary photographs of a real victim, suspect, crime scene, or event. Material factual claims are checked against appropriate sources rather than accepted from an automated system.
Commercial independence
Advertising, affiliate relationships, sponsorships, and other commercial arrangements do not determine our factual conclusions. Paid content must be labeled, and affiliate relationships must be disclosed clearly where readers encounter the relevant recommendation.
We may earn compensation when a reader uses certain links, but readers should not pay more because of that relationship. Product coverage should explain purpose, limitations, audience fit, and material terms rather than promise complete protection or guaranteed recovery. See our Affiliate Disclosure.
Accessibility
We aim to make TruthTube Files usable with keyboard navigation, visible focus, meaningful headings, descriptive links, text alternatives, sufficient contrast, responsive layouts, and reduced-motion preferences.
If a page, form, image description, menu, or document is difficult to use, email lavi@truthtubefiles.com with the page address and a short description of the barrier. Accessibility reports are treated as operational issues and reviewed alongside corrections and technical faults.
Contact and accountability
For corrections, rights inquiries, accessibility concerns, partnership proposals, or general editorial correspondence, email lavi@truthtubefiles.com.
