Editorial and advertising separation
Advertising does not determine story selection, factual conclusions, corrections, product rankings, or source treatment. Advertisers do not receive unpublished editorial access or a right to approve independent coverage.
Clear labels
Display advertising is labeled “Advertisement” or an equivalent clear term. Sponsored content, if introduced, will be labeled at the top and within relevant promotional surfaces. Affiliate links use a contextual disclosure.
Permitted placements
Potential placements include after an article introduction, between sufficiently long sections, around the 30–40% reading point, near the end, in a desktop sidebar, or between card groups with visual separation.
Advertising is not placed inside menus, over article images, adjacent to Subscribe in a way that encourages accidental clicks, or so close to navigation controls that it can be mistaken for part of the site.
Density and reading experience
We avoid excessive advertising above the fold, cumulative layout shift, autoplay video with sound, overlays that block content, and aggressive first-visit pop-ups. Mobile density should remain lower where screen size makes separation difficult.
Advertiser eligibility
We may reject advertising that appears fraudulent, misleading, unsafe, discriminatory, illegal, exploitative, or incompatible with victim-centered reporting. Categories requiring special caution include financial promotions, recovery services, surveillance products, health claims, and services promising guaranteed protection or fund recovery.
Privacy and measurement
Any future ad technology must be reflected in the Privacy and Cookie Policies before activation. Consent, opt-out, and preference controls will be provided where required. Advertising measurement does not excuse collecting more information than necessary.
Complaints and corrections
Readers can report a deceptive, unsafe, inaccessible, or poorly placed advertisement to lavi@truthtubefiles.com. Removal of an ad does not imply a conclusion about every product offered by that advertiser.
